Would you like some Halloween with that blood and gore?

Seth's head had an unfortunate run-in with a golf club yesterday in our front yard. I don't know why they were trusted with metal golf clubs for "putting practice" by a certain golf lover in our home. (Some of you might remember we had a similar incident a couple years ago involving some neighbor kids, but no stitches!) Seth was walking to get his ball and his friend was in the middle of swinging (missed the ball, but successfully nailed Seth's forehead).

The result was a lot of blood, lots of tears (not only over the pain, but also the tragedy of maybe not making the church trunk-or-treat), and 8 stitches. Today, Seth is proud of his stitches and they will only be in for about 3 days anyway.



Thankfully, we did make it to the end of the trunk-or-treat. Seth even made it in costume, but we didn't grab the camera in the midst of tragedy, so you must wait until later in the week for costume photos. Logan caught on to trick or treating after just a couple drops in his bucket, and loves it! (of course!)
