Today Logan turns one year old! It has been such a long year, and yet time seems to have flown! He will weigh in this week at the doctor, but I think he is close to 20 lbs. We aren't doing much today to celebrate; however, this weekend we are planning on having some family and a couple close family friends over to have a little birthday celebration. I still need to decide on a type of cake... Logan is still just on the verge of walking, making daring lunges from furniture to furniture. He also loves to walk around pushing his little cart. For his birthday so far we bought him a little frog sandbox which we will probably use as a wading pool here in the beginning of summer, then eventually fill with sand and possibly get the boys a little wading pool to have here at the house. Logan loves to splash in the water so hopefully we will spend a lot of time swimming this summer. Yesterday it was close to 100 degrees here (record high) Seth had his usual playdate with his friend, Dario, yesterday. They spent time playing outside in the sprinkler and then also spent a couple hours at the swimming pool. Anyway, Logan and I need to get on with the celebration today!!

Wish we could be there to help celebrate! His pictures show that he is just as cute as can be (which he gets from his grandfather, of course).
Isn't that a great cake picture you found!? I was thinking about when you turned 1 yourself. You weighed a bit more and were the best baby! You were pretty patient with Cindy licking your face and happy to let your siblings carry you around. It was so cute! I can see Logan's resemblances to you in some of the pictures, especially now that he has more hair.
