Seth had a great spring break last week at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center, here in Round Rock. They played games, went swimming, went to parks, painted, colored, went bowling, and went to Gattiland. Seth made two good friends, Kennan and Christian. Today Seth started back to Pre-K. After lots of thunderstorms last night, we had a beautiful day today. This afternoon we went to the Pflugerville park. The creek was swollen and running swiftly. After getting over his initial fears, Chomp had a good time splashing in the more shallow water. Seth threw plenty of rocks and had stick boat races with his friends. Logan's favorite park activity is swinging; however, as he gets more mobile he is starting to like to climb around a bit as well. On a side update, Logan has started eating a little more fruit everyday, without an increase in stomach discomfort. So hopefully that is a good sign. Seth is looking forward to soccer practice starting this week. Jim and I will begin our adventure in coaching soccer as well. :) Wish us luck.

Coaching soccer will be a thrill, as Jim knows from ref-ing. And I mean that both ways - it's fun but at times you want to throttle some of the parents. Here in SD we don't have thunderstorms. A drizzling rain is called a "storm" and there's never any wind with the rain so it always seems very civilized compared to Texas! I've heard only 4-6 claps of thunder in 2.5 yrs.
