We logged a lot of miles over the Christmas holiday. We drove across the Western United States to Dallas. We visited with Matt, cousins Cannon and Chase, and Nana. After spending Christmas in Dallas we drove down to Austin to spend time with Jim's dad and step-mom. From there we drove over to Houston to see my sister, Melissa, and her family. Finally, we spent the new year holiday chilling with friends in San Antonio before making the long journey home. The boys were both great travelers and we had a lot of fun! One of their favorite things was playing with friends in San Antonio- especially Xayvion. Sadly, the only pictures I took were on Christmas morning. Santa really delivered this year, even though we were on the road. He left Seth a picture frame with a grainy photo of a giant stuffed panda sitting on Seth's bed at home in California. (I guess Santa knew that a three foot tall stuffed "Pudgy Panda" would fit well in the car). In even greater wisdom, Santa brought Logan lots of supplies for a pet guinea pig and gave the boys a gift certificate for two free guinea pigs from a rescue group or pet store. You can see their excitement! Otherwise, they had a great time opening presents with their little cousins, uncle, and Nana. We loved seeing all of our family and friends in Texas!
