Whew, it has been a very long school year. Our whole family has been busy. Jim trades his time between school (can we say physics and o-chem fun?!), basketball officiating, hanging with the family, and dental club activities. We are so proud of him for getting accepted into Cal State University for this fall! He is on his way! I finished up a busy first year of graduate school and am happy to have a good handful of classes behind me. I was still able to squeeze in time to volunteer in both boys' school classrooms, which is a joy. Seth has kept busy with scouting, band, school, math club, and just hanging out. He has been building a lot of origami lately- especially after learning how to make origami guns. Seth loves to read and discover new things. He is very patient and kind to his little brother. He and Logan play flag football after schools on Monday and are always excited to give us a play by play at dinner time. We also love going to the park to ride bikes or play ball or tag. We've already gone swimming a few times this spring. Tonight we had to go for a swim after dinner because Logan discovered his old life jacket in a pile of things to take to Texas. He just had to try it out, as he hasn't worn it for a couple years. We still love having pets. Seth has a hamster, Brownie and the boys share responsibility for their guinea pigs, Choo-Choo and Eclipse. Logan can tell you any number of lengthy stories and loves to think up new ideas. He is very independent and refuses help on many things. He loves riding his bike and playing his new Skylanders game for Wii. He also loves to just go outside by himself and play with his swords (or golf clubs) and get lost in his imagination.

Congratulations to both you and Jim for your accomplishments at school! That is so awesome that he got accepted to Cal State and that you finished a year of graduate school. You guys have been working so hard. Savannah loves origami too! Her and Seth need to get together next summer. We'll have to buy them a big stack of paper and set them loose! We sure miss you and Jim and your sweet, fun boys. I think my kids have the BEST cousins.
