Pinewood Derby this year was a roller coaster of excitement. Two days before the big event, Seth was finishing up his car "The Flyswatter"; however, the car broke while Jim was putting the last wheel on. He tried to fix it, but the car broke again. Later Logan tried to tape it, because he wanted to help Seth.
Jim scrambled to cut out a new basic car shape for Seth to work on the next day when he got home from school. Thankfully Seth liked the new car shape and painted it up with Texas Longhorn designs. He created a longhorn stencil to use against the black background. The car ended up looking pretty sharp. It was fun to see all the different car styles at the derby.

The competition was pretty stiff in every heat!
Seth's car won "Fastest Longhorn" because it was the overall winner! Now Seth gets to race his car at the regional scout fair in April!
