This past weekend we headed up to Eagle Point for a weekend of winter fun. Friday we went tubing down their incredibly long tube run- so fun! Over 25" of snow fell on Saturday making the powder deep and thick. We headed out to ski, but the deep powder was a little too tough for the kids to plow through. Logan and I ended up hiking down one of the mountains because he was worn out skiing through the powder.

We spent plenty of time being cozy and warm inside the condo- playing games, watching movies, and eating.

Then on Sunday Jim's sister, April, and her family (Mike, Andie, and Ethan) came over to hang out with us. We went out to play in the snow. Someone else had dug an awesome snow cave.
We spent a bunch of time tubing down a hill, and there were a few face plants.

Seth broke off some incredibly huge icicles. Everyone engaged in massive snowball fights, and in some places the snow was so deep you would sink up to your waist.

When we got too cold we headed inside to warm up, hang out, and play some games. It was a perfect weekend family getaway. We definitely all needed a break from day to day life, school, and chores!
