Back in July, after spending time in Utah for two family reunions, we headed back to California for some time in the sun. One of my favorite things was spending a whole day just with Seth. Aunt Laurie took Logan for me and they went with Melissa and Lindsey out to Bates Nut Farm (not to be confused with Nates Butt Farm). They got to feed the animals and eat fudge- yum!
Seth and I spent our day at Lego Land and had an absolute BLAST together! We rode an incredible number of rides- including one big roller coaster and another ride that spins you around in all directions, even upside down. We spent a little time at the water park. We didn't get to do everything, but that is okay because we plan on going back really soon and taking Jim and Logan!
Seriously, everything there is made out of Legos- the little kind. It is incredible.
Huge Dragon? Made out of Legos.
Life-size knight? Made out of Legos.
Lego people joined us on this glorious day!

There was a safari ride which takes you on a tour to see giraffes, alligators, elephants, zebras, monkeys, and other safari animals. All made out of Legos.
Volvo driving school. At the entrance to this, they had an entire life-size Volvo SUV built out of....... You guessed it! Legos!
Seth won a pirate crab on a carnival game.
Even though Lego Land was really fun, the most special thing of the day was just hanging out with Seth. Thanks for a great time buddy- and especially a thrilling time on the scary ride!! I love you!
Stay tuned for "San Diego Part 2: Swimming with Sharks."
