Latest Family News

Seth started violin lessons, and just loves it. His lesson is with one other boy right now, and he has a great teacher! He is also busy working on his science project, which is going to be a display about nocturnal animals. On Saturdays he is playing basketball, and Jim coaches his team. He has warmed up to basketball again and scored a few baskets in the last game.

Logan finally recovered from holiday vacations and is back to not crying when it is time for nursery or for his babysitter, which is really nice for me. He still loves Thomas the train, but has at least been branching out with a fascination with animals. And loves chasing the big kids around. (Right now they have been playing "hiding" and chase for about an hour- pure bliss for me!)

School has started for me, and is going quite smoothly. I am ahead by a couple weeks in my English class and am plowing into my law and communication classes. I got invited to go greek with a couple honor societies. In my not-so-spare time I am trying to cook more variety. Nothing fancy, but trying to incorporate more color into meals and better main dishes. Cranberry pork roast, anyone? Then of course the running has been started again, and hopefully will be followed closely by some biking and maybe even some swimming if I can fit it in.

Jim is not so busy these days. He has been nursing his calf injury and taking it easy. He is coaching Seth's basketball team which is fun. The team record is 1-1 right now, but that will change as we continue to win more games ;)
