Leggy is a Frog!

Or a froglet as Seth refers to him as. Leggy was aptly named because he had the most developed hind legs when we got the tadpoles. Well, today his front legs popped out. Funny how they develop inside and then pretty much literally pop right out. Seth was thrilled. His tail should be gone within a couple days and he will be eating meal worms, then crickets. Nice and Yuck. He is already turning a little bit orange/golden as well. He climbed out onto the branch we provided but prefers to climb on the glass sides of the aquarium. Tomorrow we are putting the swimmers back in the old cage and turning the current aquarium into more of a terrarium because new little frogs actually can't swim that much. Too weak and they can drown. Go figure.

Anyway, it is quite amazing that he can climb the glass. He is teeny tiny, but you can still see the little round toes. Funny and cute. Junior is next in the line as he already has hind legs. Then Thomas, Swimmy, and Fred(Fred's name has changed a few times so I don't know what tadpole #5 is really named) are all racing to be next to get legs. Feel free to place bets.
