Seth's summer is taking off...

This morning Seth had a couple of friends come over to play. We met some other friends at the park for a little while and it was nice and breezy and overcast. This afternoon his friends took him to a sprinkler park so he should be worn out tonight! We are planning on getting over to the library today to sign up for their summer reading program. Seth really enjoyed the challenge last summer and this summer we really want to continue to grow his reading skills. Seth has swim lessons starting in a couple weeks. Seth also has been waiting to play on a real basketball team, and his YMCA summer basketball league is starting soon. He is also going to attend a half-day basketball sport camp at the YMCA which he is excited about. He made friends with a nice boy on his soccer team, Ryan, who will be going to basketball camp with him. He is also doing a half-day karate camp later in the summer over at the Round Rock recreation center. Between all the summer activities around town, playgroups, playdates, friends, swimming, sports, and vacation we will hopefully stay really busy this summer! We are especially hoping for lots of swimming and water fun. Yesterday after Seth watered the flowers he wanted to wash the car, so he sprayed it and I would scrub it. He did an excellent job!

Julie,

The boys are lucky to get to do so many fun things! Although I know it is a lot of effort for the parents. Keep up the good work.
