Unfortunately, this year for Thanksgiving we needed to travel to Utah for my paternal grandfather's funeral (Edwin Evans). Thanksgiving dinner was eaten at a small gas station; however, we did enjoy a nice weekend seeing family and remembering all the great things about my grandpa. In the days before the funeral, we went to the natural history museum at Thanksgiving Point. Logan and Connor had a great time digging in the sand
The actual funeral was lovely and all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren sang a song together. (Seth's memorable experience is that he passed out- most likely from being overly warm in his suit jacket and locking his knees while standing- right after the song ended. Poor guy!) Following the funeral in Sandy, we all traveled up to Logan for the burial.
While in Logan for a family dinner post-burial, we spotted this and Logan loved seeing his name in such large letters!
We also stopped by to see the temple and are grateful that we know families are forever!
