(Warning: LONG videos that will be appreciated mostly by grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins that live far far away)
First off, Seth developed an ear infection and has been home for quite a few days. It was so severe that within just a couple hours he went from quite fine (no viral bug even) to having the side of his neck so swollen and painful that he couldn't turn his head at all. After lots of medicine and even more sleeping he is finally headed back to school tomorrow. Yesterday he came into my room asking to watch a movie on the computer. Within the 3 minutes it took me to finish email he had crashed out. This was 3pm. He slept until 7pm when he woke up to catch the Charlie Brown Christmas Special and then went right back to sleep in his bed. Poor guy. He is mostly glad to be well enough to make it to The Nutcracker rehearsals so that he can keep his coveted spot as a Toy Soldier.
Crashed out on our bed.
Seth and Logan watching Charlie Brown Christmas in their new jammies and with their Snoopies.
I hung the Christmas lights too! And this season they are only going up once and coming down once. I am not linking to the fiasco last year because that bad memory needs to be buried. Hint to everyone out there: if you live in a wind tunnel the little plastic clips won't hold Christmas lights onto your house despite the swears of Home Depot/Lowe's employees, so just screw in the metal hooks.
(Pictures of lights at a later date...)
Logan and I also played T-ball for a long long time that same evening. So, here is Logan offering his opinion on Christmas lights and showing his T-ball skills, plus some other baseball bat wielding skills...

The long videos were appreciated very much by grandparents (me and Mom, and I'm sure others, too)!
You are way ahead of us on Christmas preparations, so now we will see whether I actually get any Christmas lights put up or not. We might be doing good just to get the tree up and decorated.
Anyway, I cast a vote for more and longer videos!
Long video also appreciated by one of his close friends. Only problem is as the video ends he says "want see more Logan" or "play it again."
We need to catch up and let the boys catch up too.
