The Ritter Troop

Saturday we took the bikes down to Town Lake/Zilker Park. Seth rode his own bike and Logan relaxed in the bike seat on the back of my bike. After riding a couple of miles we hit Zilker Park to eat dinner, play, and possibly wade in the water. But when we got down to the water Seth wanted to swim. So, in he went in his shorts. Jim followed suit so that they could go down the "water slide" We were beneath Barton Springs and with all the rain the current was still pretty fast due to all the water pouring out the mini dam. The water channels into one area creating a little slide. Well, Logan wouldn't have anything to do with wading once he saw Dad and Seth on the other side (also where all the dogs were- poor Chomp was at home!) So, we plunged in. Finally, as it was starting to get dark we rode our bikes back to the car and headed home. It was a great time! Seth can't wait to go back! He wants to take a net and try to catch some fish, like we saw another family doing.

Logan's current favorite book. He loves all the animal sounds, and just giggles if you do the animals talking in different voices!
