Swimmy the Tadpole

Swimmy the tadpole(no longer tadpole Bob in case he got confused with Bob the turtle) is doing quite well in our care. He is now in a more permanent home with a couple fake plants. He is starting to sprout little back legs which thrills Seth. Swimmy is still quite a little fellow which makes me wonder what kind of frog he is. Later in the summer we shall see. We tried to hunt for more tadpoles but couldn't even find any. We did catch some creepy weird fish looking things, but they weren't as cute as tadpoles. Hopefully we can find Swimmy a friend soon. Logan and Seth both love to check on him through the clear glass to find where he is hiding. We rarely catch him in the act of swimming but he is in different spots all day so I guess he moves sometime.



The water in the pictures was pretty clear and not near as dark, murky, and snake-y as it would seem. :)
