IS NOT A FUN GAME AT ALL! It doesn't even matter if you are waiting for something good or something bad... either way it stinks and time drags on and on. So, yes we are still waiting for the results. Yesterday we called the doctors office and they said they hadn't gotten them from the lab yet. No biggie. So today we planned on raising a little noise to make sure we got them today. So Jim called (he is better at being loud than I am) and the nurse he spoke to today said she thought that was funny because the lab usually takes a week and so she didn't know why we expected them sooner. Jim told her that the doctor told us to expect them this soon. So the nurse asks him if the doctor ordered them STAT or something... how the heck is Jim supposed to know?!?!?!? Then she said she would talk to Dr Sanchez when she got in today (after surgeries) and have her call us. I wish we knew the results already!!!! So it sounds like the doctor planned on having them ordered STAT or ASAP and either it didn't get communicated or the lab dropped the ball. Either way it is frustrating!!

We have had that mix up before too. I always wondered if they can do the lab work quicker, then why don't they? If they can do in in 2 days, then why do they say that it will be ready in 7? I'm starting to think that working in a lab is a pretty good job. You just work when you feel like working.
